魏丕信（Pierre-Etienne Will），生于1944年，法国著名汉学家。早年攻读欧洲古典文学（拉丁、希腊、法国）和中文，1975年获巴黎大学博士学位，1969年入法国国家高等社会科学研究院任教至今，1991年当选法兰西学院院士。研究范围遍及人口史、灾害史、水利史、荒政史、明清国家与经济的关系、明清官僚制度等，有专著2部及论文50余篇，成就卓著，在国际学界享有盛誉。
